TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.BOOKING / ACCEPTANCE

1.1 Events By Rachel accepts a booking on the understanding that a deposit or full payment has been collected and held by Boho and Whimsy directly.

 

1.2 On confirmation of your booking, subject to availability and at Boho and Whimsy’s discretion, your chosen event date/ selected product/s will be reserved. It is your responsibility, as the customer, to check the accuracy of your booking including your selected hiring date & number of hire items. A contract is only made between you and Boho and Whimsy upon your booking being confirmed and accepted through written communication.

 

 1.3 In order to reserve your booking: a non-refundable deposit (25% of the total price) is required within 7 days of receiving your quote. If the booking is made within 30 days of the nominated event date, the full amount payable must be made at the time of booking confirmation. The deposit is accepted as a first instalment of the total invoice price by Boho and Whimsy, only once the booking has been confirmed in writing by Boho and Whimsy. 

 

1.4 The outstanding balance of the total price must be paid by no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled, nominated or confirmed event date or the payment date specified in any promotion, which shall be by the due date stated on the confirmation issued to you. Whilst every endeavour will be made to remind you of the payment due dates, it is your responsibility to make this payment in full by the due date. If payment is not made to Boho and Whimsy by the due date, Boho and Whimsy will assume that you have cancelled your order and cancellation charges in will be levied by Boho and Whimsy 1.4 a) Booking Statements confirming ‘Full Payment’ will not be issued until full payment has been received by Boho and Whimsy.

 

1.5 In the case of bookings made within 30 days of your selected event date, the full cost will be payable immediately at time of booking.

 

1.6 Boho and Whimsy reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply cancellation charges should full payment not be received within the above specified periods.​

2. CANCELLATION & CHANGES

2.1 Cancellation of your booking must be in writing to Boho and Whimsy. When written notification has been received, a fee will be levied to cover the costs incurred. The amount of the cancellation fee will be dependent on the number of days prior to the event (not including the day of event or the day of notification).

 

2.2 The below cancellation fees are levied from periods of notice given prior to confirmed / nominated departure date as a % of the total hire fare.

 

2.3 Any changes to the confirmed event date is always subject to availability and must be re-confirmed in writing to Boho and Whimsy. A new contract is to be updated with the new selected date & must be signed. It will only be accepted through written communication, upon confirming your newly selected date. These changes may result in the loss of any special discounts applied to the originally invoice and are in addition to any fees that may be levied by external companies.

3. WEATHER CONDITIONS 

Under no circumstances can the Boho and Whimsy be held responsible for any delay, deviation or cancellation due to weather conditions. Any date changes are subject to availability and must be re-confirmed in writing to Boho and Whimsy.
